The CR2 Enforcer was once known for establishing Empiret rule in the Magenta system its usage by the Rebellion against the Empiret demonstrated a strong sense of irony. The Rebel Fighter, also known as the CR2 Enforcer, was a type of fighter craft that was used by the Rebellion during the Red Sun Incident. In particular, the long redundant CR2 series light fighter, Enforcer, became emblematic of the Rebellion's struggle, representing for many the optimism and egalitarian intent of the System's founders in the face of more recent, secrecy-laden developments. To top it off, it accepts the widely available 10/22® magazine. 22 features a monolithic upper receiver and injection molded lower receiver. When resistance to the Empiret's employment of unspecified alien technology finally lead to conflict in 4665, many were quick to acknowledge the irony in the Rebellion's employment of craft once instrumental in establishing Empiret rule throughout the Magenta System. The receiver accepts AR-15 pattern stock and brace options, and the trigger and selector are also compatible with AR-15 options.
